Job Title: Computer Build Lab Lead - (MSC0100.2)

Our Chesapeake, VA team supporting the Military Sealift Command (MSC) has an immediate need for a Computer Build Lab Lead to oversee and serve as the point person for lab-related activities and efforts. Primary responsibilities include:
• Maintain server and workstation builds at the Stratas Chesapeake lab by testing add-ons, updates, and security patches
• Perform regular maintenance activities on the lab computer systems
• Apply patches and updates to systems located at the MSC C4 Engineering Lab (MCEL)
• Conduct regular inventory of equipment in the Stratas Chesapeake lab and maintain positive control of all assets
• Generate data and reports as needed to satisfy government requirements

Job Requirements
• Must possess current IAT II certification, including an appropriate Computing Environment certification, in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
• Must have at least 5 years of progressive IT experience supporting Windows Server and Workstation operating systems
• Must possess knowledge and/or skill set in some or all of the following areas: virtualization technologies (VMWare Server and/or Microsoft Hyper-V), workstation image deployment, Microsoft Active Directory user and group administration, Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG), security patch application, Execute Order (EXORD)/Fragmentary Order (FRAGORD)/Operation Order (OPORD)/ Cyberspace Tasking Order (CTO) implementation, Host-Based Security System (HBSS) configuration, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) configuration
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment where multitasking will be required
