Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages and oversees the SCIF operations, National Industrial Security Program (NISP), and National Security
Information program policies and procedures to include but not limited to providing technical expertise on all matters related
to Classified National Security information.
2. Coordinates with the Security Investigations Service Center (SISC) to facilitate compliance with the National Security
Clearance program and administers SCI program.
3. Serves as the Point of Contact (POC) for assigned SCIF site to provide escorts, control SCI Facility access, and assign
classified network access.
4. Researches, analyses, and summarizes quantitative and/or qualitative National Security data; identifies trends, insights
and opportunities for program improvements. Develops, composes, and presents reports, responses and guidelines
regarding the National Security program.
5. Serves as a liaison with organizational partners/customers, representatives of public and government organizations, law
enforcement agencies, employees and management in matters related to the National Security program and other assigned
areas.
6. Coordinates overall physical security to ensure that all current and future SCIFs comply with the physical security
standards outlined in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, all other applicable directives and established policies.
7. Develops, evaluates, and reviews policies, programs, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with established
standards and guidelines. Identifies inconsistencies and discrepancies; develops recommendations for corrective actions,
and alternative approaches to streamline, refine, and improve existing policies, systems, and procedures.
8. May travel as needed to conduct and attend trainings and briefings, as a national security classified courier, and to other
SCIF sites.
9. Serves as alternate communication security (COMSEC) custodian for assigned site(s).
