PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a senior-level C++ Software Developer to assist in designing, modifying, developing, and writing applications and software using C++ code.
Assists in supporting and/or installing software applicationsParticipates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of softwareProvides inputs for documentation of new or existing programsRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of complicated tasks
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science in a relevant technical discipline and five - eight (5-8) years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredDoD 8570.01-M requirements for IAT Level III certifications such as: CASP+ CE; CCNP Security; CISA; CISSP (or Associate); GCED; GCIH and IAM Level III such as: CISM; CISSP (or Associate; GSLC or CCISOExperience designing and developing Object Oriented C++ applications on both Linux and Windows environmentsExperience developing code in a team environmentExperience with QT: Slot/Signal conceptsExperience with Open Scene Graph, Open GLSelf-motivation and the ability to work with little daily oversightAbility to work very independently while in a team setting, yet possess the ability to be able to know when to ask for technical assistance or technical directionExcellent analytical skills. Ability to develop solutions with very little hard requirements, and implement features based on customer feedback via demos, input from subject matter experts, either formally in a demo setting, or informally via collaborative tools Ability to develop these solutions singularly, or by the direction of technical leadsAbility to demonstrate solutions in a large setting witnessed by customer, subject matter experts, team and technical leadsExperience developing code in a team environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work with little oversightActive SECRET clearance

Familiarity with and proficiency in C, C++, C#, VHDL, Verilog, LynxOS, VxWorks, RTLinux, Linux, real-time operating systems, test-driven development, scrum methodology, agile development, object-oriented programming / OOP, embedded systems, and embedded software developmentFamiliarity with Link16 ProtocolFamiliarity with CMake software toolFamiliarity with Git, Jira and Confluence softwareExperience developing client-server implementations is a plusAwareness and purpose of middleware applications such as CORBA and Open DDSExperience with real-time simulationsKnowledge of design patterns and why they may be usedFamiliarity of Software Engineering Life Cycle ModelsAbility to apply requirements to design and implementation
