This position will be performed on-site at the TRMC government facility at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia, and requires some travel.
This position is for a Subject Matter Expert in Networked Command, Control, and Communication to support the Test and Evaluation Science and Technology Program (T&E/S&T). The T&E/S&T Program is the Departments only Science and Technology Program that invests in technologies to enhance the capabilities of the DoD Test Ranges to test the full spectrum of military capabilities in support of DoD acquisition, experimentation, prototyping, and technical demonstrations.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the T&E/S&T Program Manager in advising him/her with technical expertise in prototype technology development investments in command, control, communications, computers test (C4T) technologiesWorking with the staff of the OUSD/Research & Engineer/Advanced Capabilities Principal Director Networked C3 to support development of the DoD FNC3 roadmap to ensure TRMC activities support National Defense Strategies supporting networked C3
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and ten plus (10+) years' of relevant experience or Masters Degree and five plus (5+) years' of revelant experience in a field related to (but not limited to):
Computer ScienceComputer EngineeringElectrical EngineeringInformation TechnologySystems EngineeringExperience with the DoD, especially with either DoD S&T, DoD Acquisition, DoD testing and/or DoD test RangesExperience in several of the following areas, to include (but not limited) to:
