Job Description:

ARServices is seeking a senior SharePoint Developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements to help a DoD customer manage a complex research and development portfolio. The developer will provide KM Portal technical support, including consulting with project team and end-users on site application requirements, maintenance and minor bug fixes or enhancements, troubleshooting post-migration to Microsoft Sharepoint On-Line O365, and developing software user guides, charts or training. The right person will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment bringing a mindset of innovation to this new project focused on developing and testing new tools and techniques to advance the customer's mission.

Principal Duties
Work with internal or customer stakeholders and teams to plan, design, implement, and administer SharePoint instances or tenants following agile processes Maintain the internal SharePoint tenant environment in accordance with agency standards and established best practices Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint sites, including creating new SharePoint sites, adding document libraries and lists, applying regular software updates, performing archiving and data backup tasks, and reviewing regular usage reports and error logs (taking appropriate action when necessary to ensure the site's continued health and stability) Monitor and maintain SharePoint content to assure its quality, security, integrity, and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with the design and delivery of SharePoint content Develop and maintain SharePoint documentation Analyzes user requirements, processes, procedures, and issues and establishes appropriate controls and permissions associated with large or complex IT systems Configures or develops specific code to enable or create functionality within SharePoint including facilitating transfer of information with other software tools within or outside the Microsoft ecosystem Manage and provide expertise to a content management framework that incorporates automated templates versioning/document management, workflows, real-time collaborative editing, network mapping between SharePoint libraries and Windows for end users; allows scalable expansion; and enables capabilities such as intuitive interfaces with back-end data sources and automation of critical business and information processes. Research and implement new capabilities and integrations within the SharePoint-Office365 ecosystem Implement comprehensive security and data protection Participates in reviews, audits, and studies, and evaluations as required
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or business-related discipline (logistics, industrial engineering, management, economics, finance, information technology) from an accredited college or university At least 7 years of relevant experience in information technology field, including 5 years supporting SharePoint applications, configuration, deployment, and/or development Experience with implementing SharePoint solutions, customization, and testing or content management Must possess a current IT-II security clearance or National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) or NACLC equivalent. Must be able to attain at a minimum a SECRET clearance Experience with front-end development tools such as JQuery and JavaScript Experience in consulting with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements. Must demonstrate leadership abilities on projects by instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of others on the development team in a constructive manner. Must be comfortable resolving problems with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Troubleshooting production issues related to SharePoint applications or the environment. Performing feasibility analysis on future projects and potential solutions. Assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Proficient in: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), MS Project, or MS Visio
Desired Qualifications
Proficiency or working knowledge of HTML , InfoPath, VB Script , XML and Microsoft ASP.Net Understanding of and recent experience in research and development processes of the Department of Defense and/or Federal Government
