Job Title: Network Engineer

Technology is constantly changing, and our adversaries are digitally "going dark" at a rate that is exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. The Government has trusted in Peraton to provide the technical ability, tools, and resources to bring criminals to justice. In response to this challenge, we are seeking a talented Cyber Network Engineer.

What you'll do...
Provide core technical leadership to the architecture, installation and planning of a variety of solutions across multiple networks. Support the design and integration of various components of technology, including developing recommendations for new technologies to the customer when appropriate. Architect and lead the setup, configuration, and support of internal and/or external networks. Develop and maintain security and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues, create and maintain network diagrams and documentation. Recommends upgrades for new applications and equipment. Architect and maintain LAN/WAN technologies, routing and switching platforms, troubleshoot critical issues, and coordinate implementations. Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Configure multiple OS routers/firewalls and switches.
You'd be a great fit if...
You've obtained a BS Degree and have five (5) years of relevant experience. However, equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. You're an expert in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology. You have experience in network designing software, such as Visio. You're able to perform duties in a very fast paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new technologies and theories. You've deployed and managed network devices (various switches, routers, and firewalls). You have a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph
It'd be even better if you...
Have experience with multiple network device operating systems. Are experienced with networking tool sets such as NetScout, Wireshark, and SolarWinds. Have Layer 3 networking experience. Are proficient with different routing capabilities, such as VRF, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, BGP, and GREs. Have experience with encrypted networks. Have obtained a CCNP or CCNA certification.
