Ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking a Mission Protection Analyst at Peterson-Schriever Garrison (Schriever site), Colorado to support our National Space Defense Center customer.
The Analyst must be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. Wide range of knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in a specialized field, plus knowledge of related disciplines gained through wide exposure.
Peraton Corporation is looking to fill a critical role for a Mission Protection Analyst. The Analyst will
Execute mission protection aspects of the space object catalog required as part of the evolving National Space Defense Center (NSDC) Protect and Defend (P&D) mission. Execute P&D operational functions to include space flight safety, defensive space control, intelligence analysis, and operational, technical and engineering support to national security space programs. Review and prepare responses for applicable government policies, plans, procedures and technical documentation, as well as collaborate with other space operations centers and space acquisition offices. Assist in the evaluation of Techniques, Tactics and Procedures and Course of Action development, evaluation, and execution. **Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. While this position will accomplish most tasks Monday to Friday, normal day hours, due to the non-routine operations environment, work may be required outside those times. Travel 10% is expected.
Required Qualifications
Must have BS/BA (or equivalent experience) with eight (8+) years orbital mechanics, flight safety and/or vulnerability testing, collision avoidance, satellite operations analysis, intelligence analysis, and/or defensive space control experience Must have four (4+) years satellite operations crew experience One (1+) years of NRO or Intelligence Community experience One (1+) years of space training experience Must have an active/current TS/SCI level security clearance Desired Qualifications
MS/MA/MBA (or the equivalent) desired with five (5+) years satellite operations or space control experience Two (2+) years of NRO or Intelligence Community experience One (1+) year of continuity of operations and/or exercise/war-game experience Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act:
