Job Description:

Cambridge International Systems is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our Navy customer onsite at the Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex. Qualified candidates for this job must possess an active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and must be able to work at this location or an off-site Cambridge office location in Virginia Beach, VA.

We at Cambridge International Systems identify IT Network Engineering requirements, enhance and develop IT capabilities, and provide technical solutions in support of the Navy’s mission. The ISSO will play an integral role in helping our Navy customer manage a 24x7 Watch Floor to ensure sustainment operations are carried out in accordance with specified objectives through the following roles and responsibilities:

Perform as the subject matter expert in all aspects of cyber security/Information Assurance (IA).
Manage day to day operations of the cyber suite, making all required reports to project management and all required DoD activities as directed.
Assist the Information Systems Security Manager with all required RMF IA documentation to achieve/maintain Authority to Operate for all project networks.
Perform daily analysis of the Host Based Security Solutions (HBSS) events for all installed modules (including intrusion prevention system/firewall/data loss prevention/rogue system detection/enterprise viruscan).
Implement, configure, and tune the host based firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
Install weekly updates for all modules within the HBSS suite and for the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Perform weekly compliance scans for ACAS and provide monthly reports to client leadership.
Work with network administrators to ensure monthly patching is completed, verifying with ACAS scans and manual audits.
Perform quarterly Security Technical Implementation Guides assessments on all project networks and record findings in the applicable documentation, providing any concerns to client leadership.
Ensure new employees sign IA User Agreements and complete required training prior to receiving accounts.
Perform random WiFi/Bluetooth/Cell inspections on spaces to ensure adherence to command electronic device policy.
Work with the training staff to ensure all IA related training requirements are met and any new requirements are developed, approved and initialized
Create and submit deliverables accurately and on time.
Conduct routine project status meetings with Government Project Managers and Cambridge's project team.
Facilitate or participate in the creation of document deliverables, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Analyses of Alternatives, Project Status Reports, Project and System Design Reviews, etc.
Work closely with Navy and Cambridge Management to continually improve enterprise processes and promote compliance with industry best practices such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Work closely with Cambridge's Program/Project Manager to identify project challenges and risks while offering alternatives to achieve success.
Ensure project deadlines are kept and ensure tasks remain within project scope.
Show initiative and the ability to work independently while keeping Cambridge management informed of shifting priorities and challenges.
Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, & Closing Projects using PMI's PMBOK model.
Reporting on Project Performance to Government and Contractor Program Managers.
Manage Stakeholders Expectations through routine communication and status meetings.
Assessing project health and directing any necessary corrective measures.
Other project support, as required.

Required Skills:
Ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and senior level Navy leaders and the ability to foster open communications within teams.
Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Proactively managing projects with no supervision, resolving action items, issues and risks.
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint, and Visio.

Required Experience:
Must have an active DOD TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 years of experience. At least 4 years in a supervisory capacity (will consider other combinations of experience, certifications and experience in lieu of degree).
Experience working with command level resources (O-5 and above) and senior level (GS-15) government managers.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security + and OS/VM/Networking Certification) or be obtained within 6 months of hire date
Schedule: Willing and able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required. Travel will be required to support the mission.
