Overview
Capstone is seeking an exceptional Database and Analytics Modernization Specialist to support the Navy Recruiting Command in transforming their legacy applications to the Salesforce platform and Einstein technology. Responsibilities
Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Manages projects or processes within their assigned technical area. Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution. Communicates with internal and client project team members. Manages application and user accounts, logins, and security. Enters and reviews data within the database. Ensures user data integrity. Maintains database support tools, database tables and dictionaries, and recovery and back-up procedures. Provides technical solutions and procedures or policies that may define one or more configuration items, associated processes, or test procedures and can include schematics, specifications, software configuration documentation, interface control documentation, and quality assurance provisions. Ensures applications are compatible with current external commands and systems while confirming system compatibility with future interfaces. Configures, installs, evaluates, customizes, and maintains systems common use software (i.e., operating system, data base management aids, file management/data management, storage, models, retrieval protection, data communications, and distributed data base applications). Provides development support using one or multiple productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, Visual Studio (VB.NET, C#), SharePoint Designer, MS Office, Adobe Pro, IBM WebSphere, MS SQL, Einstein, etc.) and assists with the preparation and maintenance of documentation pertaining to application systems development, operation and user support. Performs all system administrative functions such as maintaining procedures for backups/restore, documentation, system configurations, user account administration, etc. Provides system integration support for system problems, high level system development and technical support and development of products that interface with computer operating systems and MyNavyHR Defense Business Systems (DBS) for performance evaluation. Supports the maintenance, operation, andadministration of systems within the purview of Navy Recruiting Command.Performs systems backup and restoreoperations for any on-premise or cloud-based applications as appropriate. Conducts root cause analysis for issues, anomalies, and/or outages, and reports results. Supports development of and maintainsContinuity of Operations Plans (COOP). Supports architectural planning activitiesfor security and redundancy. Develops and implements security controls. Supports Assessment and Authorization of enterprise legacy systems for NMCI, to include Information Security Support (IA/PII Policy compliance, Incident Investigation Support, Compromise). Provides support to establish/update/maintain measures necessary to protect the confidentiality, availability, integrity, authenticity, and non-repudiation of IT enterprise assets to ensure information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, disruption or modification. Prepares enhancement/defect resource estimates for government leads to assess all aspects of project completion that includes software requirement gathering, development, test plans and deployment activities. For legacy database support, ensures scheduled preventive maintenance is performed in compliance with equipment technical manuals and manufacturer's specifications and dependent on individual task orders. Performs and maintains equipment inventory, tracks and analyzes maintenance service requirements and develops a maintenance plan that incorporates cost, schedule, risk, and performance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems. Eight (8) years of related experience in IT operational support (such as Information Assurance, Cyber-Security, or Electronic Documentation). One (1) year of experience working with the Salesforce platform and analytics tools.Minimum Qualifications:
Strong understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability working effectively as part of a team and independently. Navy business sytems and processes experience.Certification:
Qualifying IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE) within 6 months of date of hire.Clearance:
DOD Interim Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications (Text Only)
- Experience Microsoft SQL Server and Database Management - Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience with SQL multiple environments (AWS, Linux and Windows). - Microsoft certification in SQL Server. - Salesforce certification (Salesforce Administrator or Einstein Analytics)
