Overview
Capstone Corporation is seeking Systems Analyst to perform operational and data analysis of Joint Staff J35 Global Force Management (GFM) related Joint Technology Development efforts. This position supports the Joint Staff J35 South located in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst will analyze government provided, authoritative and classified data to assist the J35 with gaining insight into GFM and Planning and Execution process outcomes. Responsibilities follow.
Ensures the Joint Forces Capabilities Catalog (JFCC web application) functionality and validate data for the Secretary of Defense, Joint Chief of Staff, Services, Combatant Commanders and other stakeholders. Serves as a GFM Data Analyst and provide support for JOPES data reports and JFCC requirements. Provides data analytics to the Programs and Technology Branch Chief as requirements occur of forces allocation, assignment, location, equipment and availability as time allows using a variety of authoritative data sources. Provides support services as a conduit between the J35S GFM Systems and the end users. This effort includes phone support and remote remediation, addressing network outages, escalate users' issues, recommend enhancements and maintain IT inventory records. Provides operational analysis and perform government testing of GFM new version releases and note system data in reference to system operational issues. Creates/provides analytical operational reports for system assessment.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
Bachelor's degree or 7 years warfighting operational experience. Three (3) years of relevant experience.Minimum qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience in GFM automated planning systems such as JOPES, JCRM, GFMTS and PFG or similar type software programs. Understanding of IT tools, framework and how data is shared. Knowledge and experience in basic network protocols and architectures. Understanding of the development of database documentation including procedures, database schema diagrams, and backup and recovery plans. Working experience in normalization, federation, and exchange of data in an Enterprise Architecture construct. Knowledge of basic DODAF architecture products and the ability to construct such from information exchange requirements.
Ability to create update and/or modify reports using Microsoft Excel and/or Access.
Knowledge of ticketing systems i.e., creating, monitoring, updating and closing of issues or change request.
Demonstrated success in two (2) or more of the following operational areas:
Experience with communications and information systems training. Experience with collecting data, analytical analysis and determining courses of action. Experience with providing strategies and recommending solutions for risk mitigation. Experience in the development of analytical test plans and procedures. Experience in the compilation and presentation of lessons learned and after action review material. Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluations. Knowledge of Joint Doctrine.#LI-CAP
