Job Description:
Overview
The Training Specialist provides Subject Matter Expert support for Mission Command, Maneuver, Intelligence, Fires, Sustainment, Protection to include Air Defense, Mobility, Countermobility, Survivability, Military Police operations, EW, Cyber, and SOF. Additionally, the SME support may cover NGO, and other government agency operations.
This is a Temporary-On-Call position and work locations will vary by supported exercise.
Responsibilities
Develops assessments input for the Exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and after action review of company through COCOM level exercises in support of the JELC. Designs, develops, rehearses, and executes academics to meet commander's staff training requirements for operations in a US Army, Joint, or NATO environment. Designs, develops, rehearses, and executes Observer, Controller/Trainer training for OC/T Augmentees. Executes OC/T functions for "Over the Shoulder" staff training and exercise assessment to include development and execution of after action review products and takeaway packages. Basic Qualifications
Minimum education and years of experience:
Master's degree in a related field and three (3) years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of specialized experience; OR ten (10) years of specialized experience if no degree. MEL 4 / WOSSE / Ops SGM Course. Prior S3 or Division Level Chief of Plans. NATO and/or Joint assignment.Minimum qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in planning on brigade and/or higher staff. Demonstrated experience in the design, planning, preparation, and execution of exercises/events. Demonstrated experience operating with MS Office products.Clearance:
Secret clearance.
