Overview
The Military Analyst/Role Player (Temporary on Call) executes the design, planning, preparation, execution, and recovery of training events from the company through the Combined Joint Task Force level. Additionally, provides role player support to Joint Multinational Simulation Center in support of USAREUR/USARAF exercises. Role player support includes U.S. Army and Joint, NATO staff and leadership roles, Non-Governmental Organization leadership roles, and other government organizational roles to include Foreign governments.

Work locations will vary by supported exercise.

Responsibilities
Supports input into Exercise Support Plans and Exercise Support Manning Documents. Provides subject matter expertise to the JELC for operations functions such as maneuver, intelligence, fire support, air defense, mobility, counter-mobility, survivability, command and control sustainment, civil-military operations, and information operations. Supports the JELC from design through recovery. Participates in event design, including the development of the Exercise Support Plan (ESP), Exercise Support Manning Document (ESMD), and use of planning tools to plan, coordinate, track, execute, and recover for each event. Participates in event planning, including the development of event story lines, participation in the initial, main, and final planning conferences, set-up and participation in simulation event tests, and coordination of the Joint Master Scenario Event List (JMSEL). Participates in event preparation, including the build of exercise support materials such as orders, injects, scripts, and reports, coordination of simulation database requirements, synchronization of JMSEL events between products and simulations, training of response cells, rehearsal of role players, set-up of event systems, and operation of C4I systems during event tests. Participates in event execution, including operating C4I systems, simulation systems, gaming systems, and other computer software, acting as response cells for higher, lower, adjacent, and supporting/supported (HALSS) organizations, fulfilling role player responsibilities to interface directly with the training audience, and assisting with tracking the event execution. Participates in recovery operations, including the tear down, inventory, test, and storage of all systems and equipment required to support an event.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum education and years of experience:
Master's degree in a related field and three (3) years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of specialized experience; OR ten (10) years of specialized experience if no degree. MEL 4 / WOSSE / Ops SGM Course. Prior S3 or Division Level Chief of Plans. NATO and/or Joint assignment.Minimum qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in planning on brigade and/or higher staff. Demonstrated experience in the design, planning, preparation, and execution of exercises/events. Demonstrated experience operating with MS Office products. Demonstrated experience as a workstation operator on one of the following simulations: Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS). Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM). Corps Battle Simulation (CBS). Joint Deployment and Logistics Model (JDLM). Demonstrated experience on the set-up, configuration, test, and operation of one of the following systems or sub-systems: Command Post of the Future (CPOF). Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC). Global Command and Control System (GCCS). Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS). Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS). Must be able to travel on short notice to support various exercises. Able to read, write and speak fluent English. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at the same time under stressful conditions. Must possess valid state driver's license and maintain post driving.Clearance:
Secret clearance.
