Job Description:

CoSolutions, Inc. is looking to hire a Customer Support Specialist toprovide efficient and effective support for Information Technology (IT) programs across the Navy Systems Commands (SYSCOMS). In support of this objective, the Navy Directorate for Information Dominance (OPNAV N2/N6) is consolidating all Tier-1 IT service desks and moving from a human-centered Subject Matter Expert (SME)-based business model to a business model using a knowledge-based solution.One of the main goals to consolidate IT Tier-1 service desks to include all the current people, processes, and technology while gaining efficiencies of consolidation.Users shall be able to access this production service desk capability to obtain IT support through a single, easily recognizable, and memorable resource: a single point of entry.
Responsibilities:
Work independently on routine assignments.
Under close supervision on complex assignments, fields routine and moderately complex email and web submission requests, collects and documents incidents and service requests with pertinent data, and logs.
Prioritizes calls into the call management system and escalates trouble tickets to appropriate level for additional support.
Enters, tracks, prioritizes and updates service requests.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance
Education: AA/AS Degree (or equivalent experience).
Certifications: HDI Customer Service Rep (CSR) certification (desired; or must be earned within first 4 months on the job)
Experience: Three (3) years of progressive experience in computer systems operations preferably with custom IT applications support
1 year of experience with Remedy, or similar, ticketing system
Customer Service experience required, Navy user community experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Prior experience Navy Personnel systems (NSIPS, NROWS, CMS/CMD), Navy Travel systems (DTS), Navy Training (NETL) systems, Navy logistics/supplysystems (MRRS, GCSS, etc.) and/or Navy operations and regulations highly preferred.
Work Hours: Early or late day shifts (primarily). Alternate 7x 24 shifts may also be available/desired.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel by all forms of transportation 5% of time.

Work may be on-site at prime's facility, a CoSolutions provided facility, and/or teleworking from home. Requirement dependent upon available facilities and/or where positions are needed.
