POSITION OVERVIEW:
DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, (CBRN) Senior Scientist to define and resolve system issues, perform analysis, and develop plans and requirements for further analysis.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational scientific and technical analysis
Defining and resolving system issues, performing analysis, and developing plans and requirements for further analysis
Coordinates and manages the preparation of analysis, evaluations, and recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
B.A. or M.S. in a scientific, engineering, medical, veterinary, or public health field. Specific circumstances may require candidates with Ph.D. level education.
Must have 10 years of experience in a scientific, engineering, medical, veterinary, or public health field
4+ years supporting major programs or system development efforts related to human, animal, or plant health and medical consequences of CBRN events or a combination of experience in these areas and the HS pillars of prevention, protection, response, or recovery.
Other Requirements
Active / current DoD Secret or higher security clearance is required; must have or be able to obtain TS/SCI
Position is contingent upon contract award
