Here's what we're looking for from you.


• Design electronic packages for products using Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems such as SolidWorks
• Design manufacturing test fixtures and equipment for efficient high volume production of PCB's and products
• Apply knowledge of math, science and physics, strong spatial skills, and a pragmatic approach to rapidly take product concept to mass production
• Design a wide variety of components including injection molded plastic, die cast aluminum and zinc, sheet metal, CNC machined and screw machine fabricated parts, compression molded rubber, display components, flex circuits, touch panels, speaker enclosures, mounting systems, etc.
• Specify requirements for and source parts such as electrical connectors, speakers, microphones, LCD's, backlights, keypads, switches, electric motors, screw machined parts, rotary controls, batteries and antennas
• Conduct analysis and testing of new process, materials and components
• Interface with Ind us trial Designers to achieve attractive styling, realistic embodiment, and manufacturable designs
• Interface with toolmakers and tooling engineers to develop custom fabricated parts
• Interface with Electrical Engineers during design phase for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) considerations
• Interface with Process Engineers to introduce new products to the factory and help troubleshoot problems inherent with production and improve manufacturing efficiency through product life
• Maintain configuration control of documentation for products in production. Interface with available drafting and document control resources

Minimum Qualifications
• Completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
• Excellent academics (composite GPA ? 3.0)

Desirable Qualifications
• Previous work or internship experience with relevant mechanical design
• A keen interest in fitness, health and/or wellness
