We are seeking a full-time Repair & Service Parts Planner 2 for our world headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing administration of service plans. This includes material forecasting and maintenance. You will also apply knowledge of product support planning, product lifecycle, return & rework flow, and inventory control systems to provide for and manage service inventory. May lead planning related projects. Other essential functions include:

Proficiently applies knowledge and understanding of Oracle, PLAN, Agile, and MRP in performance of planning tasks including:
Administers planning tasks in Oracle ERP system Competently utilizes Oracle Discoverer to generate reports used in planning activities Uses PLAN to facilitate MRP order releases Uses Agile to perform administrative responsibilities including creation of BOM's (Bill of Materials) and processing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) Exercises effective communication skills in performance of tasks/projects with customers, other departments, and cross functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations

Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques including:
Determining root cause analysis and development of corrective action plans Assembling and analyzing data, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support supply chain operations and planning

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelors' Degree AND 3 years' experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR Associates Degree from a two year college or university AND 5 years' experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR, High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 10 years' experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 5 years' experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description AND management approved supply chain certificate. Other requirements include:
Demonstrates intermediate proficiency and knowledge of applicable Microsoft Office software
Facilitates lean practices
Solid understanding of warehouse, manufacturing and service processes
Demonstrates intermediate knowledge and use of planning tools
Demonstrates full proficiency and knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and other planning tools required to perform essential functions of this role
Demonstrates full knowledge and use of supply chain processes relevant for performing planning function


Previous work or internship experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly preferred!
