Job Description
PRCS is seeking a part-time Facility Supervisor to join its Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve team in Leesburg, VA. If you enjoy working outdoors and have a love of nature, then this could be the position you've been looking for. People with a proactive work-style are just what our visitors expect.
Reporting to the Preserve Manager, top priorities for this position will include assisting with the opening and closing of the Preserve, staffing the Visitor Center, supporting special events, and providing information to visitors.
In addition, this position will:
Be familiar with and/or have a desire to learn about local flora and fauna Provide administrative duties for the Visitor Center Perform custodial tasks Perform other duties as assigned Successful candidates will:
Work primarily weekends, to include special events Have good communication skills will all visitors to the site Know and understand all policies and rules pertaining to the site HIRING RANGE: $16.07-$21.30
Salary Commensurate with Experience
Job Requirements
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma This position requires moderate physical activity including lifting, mowing, weed-eating
Special Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with the public
Post Conditional Offer Contingencies
Successful candidate will undergo criminal background check.
