PRCS- Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs
PRCS is seeking an Activities Assistant/Passenger Vehicle Operator to join our team at the Leesburg Adult Day Center (ADC) in Leesburg, VA. If you enjoy interacting with the 60+ population, then this could be the position you've been looking for. Reporting to the ADC Manager, top priorities for this position include leading one-on-one and group activities for cognitively and physically impaired older adults, assisting clients with personal care needs (mealtime, walking, dressing, toileting), and driving an 18 passenger bus to provide transportation to/from clients' homes and on outings.
Successful candidates will:
Have some familiarity with automated systems Strive to exceed expectations, focus on customer service, and foster relationships with positive and effective communication Maintain vehicle records and reports Loudoun County Regular Full-time Employees are eligible for full benefits including but not limited to the following as a part of a total rewards package!

Job Requirements
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and one year related experienceMust be able to lift 50 pounds Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License or obtain license within 6 months of hire
Special Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months experience (activities/personal care) with seniors or special needs population Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification in First Aid and CPR Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class C, Passenger Endorsement
Post Conditional Offer Contingencies
Successful candidate will:
Undergo criminal background and DMV record checks Negative TB test result within 30 days prior to beginning work and annuallyWill have and maintain a valid driver's license and will undergo a DMV check annually Will have or obtain a CDL learner's permit within 3 months and license within 6 months of hire Complete 40-hour PCA (Personal Care Assistant) course within 60 days of hire CPR/First Aid/AED Certification within 60 days of hire Will comply with the Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program as outlined by Loudoun County's Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Policy for Transportation Employees Undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
