PRCS- Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs
Loudoun County's Parks, Recreation and Community Services is seeking applicants for part-time Seasonal Assistant Park Managers. Are you looking for a great summer job with some flexibility in the schedule? Do you enjoy working outdoors in a park setting? Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment? Then become part of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services team.
We have immediate openings for Seasonal Assistant Park Managers located at various parks throughout the County. As a member of the park management team, you will assist with the enforcement of park rules and regulations and the development and implementation of the park management plan. Your supervisory skills will be utilized overseeing and supervising park patrons and renters and daily facility management including ball fields, management of seasonal park staff and, in the absence of manager & assistant manager, assist the permanent park staff. A strong customer service focus and attention to details are needed to handle customer service concerns and assist with various administrative duties.
Work schedule varies and will include nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Services or related field and at least two years related work experience which must include some supervisory experienceSupervisory experience must be included on application for consideration Valid driver's license required Must have First Aid and CPR certifications prior to beginning work
