Summary: Epsilon Systems Solutions is currently looking for a Learning Management System Administrator in Albuquerque, NM with an existing DOE "L" Level Clearance to provide supporting knowledge of the LMS configuration, testing, troubleshooting, user support, LMS access, navigation, settings, to include setting configurations to match the NNSA Admin and user roles, personalization, use, reports, password recovery, editing, administration and user support issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Updating LMS security system as browsers are released and require LMS adjustments. Attending meetings to understand and provide input on options and approaches, to include collaborating with LMS vendor Project/Program Manager, DOE POCs, and other team members with tasks related to NNSA's "domain" of the LMS. Creating and managing administrative (e.g. course developers, content managers, NNSA LMS Administrators) and user accounts and providing related training and support. Customizing user profile fields to address specific requirement for user records. Assisting Learning Consultants with student records or other tasks as directed Enrolling individual and multiple users. Providing a range of support and instructional activities for NNSA personnel including training sessions on the core and customized LMS features and functions, Webinars, workshops, and creation of personalized how-to guides on how to manage and administer the NNSA LMS. Managing LMS user accounts, customizing user profile fields, establishing groups, managing enrollments, testing new modules, updating LMS settings, personalizing email messages, updating the LMS splash page, managing navigation options, adding LMS messages, and providing troubleshooting and technical support working with the help desk team. Creating and exporting required reports, and providing data on-demand. Migrating historic training completion records provided by NNSA from previous training systems into the new LMS. Loading, updating, maintaining, and managing Shared Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 1.2 packages, editing, configuring and deleting courses in the LMS and, ensuring courses meet 508 guidelines (per NNSA approval). Loading, updating, maintaining, and managing existing and instructor-led and hybrid courses. Ensuring all required activities, lessons, and tests are completed at the required levels and issuing completion certificates. Creating personalized pages with links and documents with video, PDF, and other resources. Using the LMS bulk user options. Generating reports on usage, progress and completions. Accessing and updating the NNSA LMS user manual, how-to-guides, and reference references. Managing, overseeing, reporting, tracking, and administering the LMS. Providing recommendations to improve LCM's technical capabilities, and implementing those recommendations based on direction from the COR. Employing superior communication techniques to ensure common understanding is achieved between technical and non-technical personnel during both oral and written interactions. Performing all necessary activities to comply with and support the LCM Business Management System and associated ISO 9001 initiative. Working collaboratively and assisting the Content Manager, ISD, and other personnel in the development of learning activities. Performing other duties as assigned within the scope of the PWS. Minimal travel may be required.
Education: Technical Certification and Associate's degree, OR Bachelor's degree. Prefer degree be in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, but degree may be in other area if candidate possesses skills to satisfactorily perform duties related to position. Learning Management system experience is highly desirable Specialized Experience: Four years of specialized experience which is comparable and relevant to the tasks and activities described above and in the accompanying PWS.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" Level Clearance.
