Job Title: Site Procurement Specialist

The Site Procurement Specialist will be a main driver for identifying cost savings opportunities, leading and executing on sourcing projects, developing new global suppliers, managing supplier scorecard process and overseeing all day-to-day sourcing initiatives.

Identify cost savings opportunities and drive execution of assigned sourcing projects from cradle to grave within established timeline and with smooth transition Develop new suppliers to meet strategic business objectives and manage new supplier approval and PPAP process Monitor and manage supplier on-time delivery and quality performance to assure supplier capability to meet production requirements Collaborate with planning and production to take resolve shortage issues and develop recovery plans both internally and with suppliers Aggressively drive supplier improvement actions in quality, capacity, capability, and cost Manage day-to-day sourcing processes including, but not limited to, indirect purchase requisition management, PPV analysis, and supplier master data maintenance Manage supplier JIT, blanket, or other stocking contracts and review on a regular basis to ensure they are up-to-date and satisfy business requirements Optimize inbound logistics, including international freight, in conjunction with material management Identify, develop, and implement process improvements in sourcing, supply management, and related areas Implement LSS principles throughout supply chain

What you'll need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar functions with at least 3 years in sourcing Experience working in steel fabrication and/or hydraulics is required Experience working with global suppliers is required Strong analytical skills Strong project management skills Strong sense of urgency CPSM or other professional supply management or purchasing certificate is preferred Certificate in Lean Six Sigma is preferred
