Job Description:

The University of Virginia's Curry School of Education seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education to teach and provide content expertise for programs in special education. Opportunities are available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online.

A terminal degree in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.

This is an at-will faculty wage position which does not carry benefits.

The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment. This position will require an Education Verification, Criminal History, Sexual Offender Registry Check (FSAKA).
