Job Description:
The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education at the Curry School of Education seeks qualified individuals to serve as Preceptors for the Board Certified Behavior Analysis and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysis (BCBA/BCaBA) course sequence for students who speak Mandarin Chinese. The incumbent provides individual and triadic supervision for students in their practicum course. Duties include managing both group and individual supervision meetings, documenting supervised experience hours, and providing feedback on weekly assignments. This wage position is anticipated to work an average of 10 hours per week over the semester.
A master's degree in Special Education or related field is required. Certification as a Master Degree-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Applicants must have completed the supervisor training required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Applicants must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English. Experience teaching using distance learning technology is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
