Job Description:
This position serves as a liaison from the Joint Staff to the US Marine Corps with focus on both the operational side of Joint activities and events (doctrine, joint training) as well as the technical side of Joint activities and events (Joint Training Environment Network connectivity and issues, Joint simulations, JSAF, etc.) which are part of Marine Corps JNTC Accredited and Certified programs.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide direct, on-site and regional joint training support with assigned personnel supporting all of the JNTC Accredited and/or Certified programs within the USMC.
* Assist in the JNTC Accreditation/Certification/Mitigation (ACM) processes and track training transformation mitigation issues identified during ACM processes. Specifically, by serving as a liaison between the service and the JS in finding solutions, efficiencies, and planning into the future.
* Support development of solutions plan, schedule, and execute actions to mitigate deficiencies within seven JNTC accredited programs and four certified sites.
* Review joint context capabilities, identify joint training environment recommendations, share lessons learned, collect best practices, capture issues, and identify shortfalls affecting the ability to perform or support joint training.
* Support Joint Staff technical joint capabilities by providing assistance with Joint Training Environment Network support and request submissions, connectivity issues, IA adherence and serve as a liaison for all issues between the Service's and Joint Staff.
* Perform as the DD J7 field staff providing the joint interface across the joint training enterprise

* B.S./B.A. with a minimum of fifteen (15) years military experience with command and/or staff assignments required
* Clearance level: Secret clearance required.
Preferred:
* Graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College or service/agency equivalent.
