Role Description

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter provides full lifecycle recruiting support for Eastman's Performance Films US Operations and North American Distribution Centers. As a Recruiter, this individual partners closely with local Martinsville and Distribution Center leadership and HR Business Partners to create and execute a recruiting strategy that ensures that top external talent is identified and attracted to the organization. Positions this role will hire can range from operators and warehouse associates to inside sales associates.

The Recruiter manages the entire lifecycle of a requisition, from sourcing strategy to offer. This individual is charged with developing an understanding of the external candidate pools, identifying top passive & active talent, assessing them for organizational fit, and presenting them for consideration. They are also intimately involved with offer negotiation and securing an acceptance.

As an integral member of the Human Resources organization, the Recruiter is active in project management, community engagement, and Eastman diversity and compliance efforts. The Recruiter is supported by local HR Specialists and reports directly to the HR Business Partner for Performance Films.

Responsibilites

Understand vision and business objectives as it relates to Talent Acquisition, while influencing and executing recruiting strategies to support the external talent needs of the company. Build a broad talent network through methods such as employee referrals, community relations, passive candidate sourcing, etc. Spend time with stakeholders to fully understand the business, the key talent needs, and the value proposition for prospective candidates. This includes maintaining relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs. Understand external talent availability and talent challenges that exist in the markets that supply customer organizations. Utilize this knowledge to design recruiting strategies that efficiently generate top quality candidates. Identify, evaluate, and deploy measures to refine and redesign Talent Acquisition strategies and processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's recruiting efforts, as well as the candidate experience. Be involved in local career fair activities to support the operation hiring needs of the organization. Manage and coordinate appropriate communications with candidates during the interview and hiring process. Network through industry contacts, associations, trade groups and coworkers to benchmark and identify best practices. Assist with efforts to improve the attraction and hiring of candidates in support of Eastman's Diversity Initiatives. Ensure sites are in compliance with federal, state and local labor laws including EEO reporting and Affirmative Action Plans, as well as internal audits.

Required Education/Experience

Minimum of 5 years work experience in Human Resources or Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience a plus Ability to consult with and influence all levels of management in the organization. Ability to learn quickly and remain flexible as assignments or requisition volume changes. Experience in project and process management a plus. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, self-starter with high drive.
