Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
Fourteen (14) years' experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
Experience working in a minimum of three of the following: High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Cellular Protocols, Wi-Fi, Angle of Arrival (AOA), Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), or Frequency Difference of Arrival (FDOA)

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Firm understanding of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and other systems engineering frameworks
Background in MS Project for project scheduling, work breakdown structures (WBS), and integrated master plans (IMP)
Understanding of change control and configuration management practices
Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 security controls and enhancements
Understanding of NSA enterprise security services, such as XACTA, CYBORGBUNNY, SEAR, NERVOUS HAMPSTER, FLAMING WEASEL, LATTEART, CASPORT, and BISCOTTI

Job Description
In support of the Cross Access Geolocation (XAG) group, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for determining the best geolocation methodology given a specific problem, designing a solution that meets the needs of XAG, and developing products to more precisely geolocate targets in a timely fashion across an enterprise National Security Agency (NSA) environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
Develops technical documentation
Develops system Architecture and system design documentation
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI with CI POLY LEVEL
