This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Serco supports the City of Inglewood by directing traffic during special events to help reduce traffic congestion and direct vehicles to certain areas of an event venue.

In this role, you will:
Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the City, Forum, SoFi Stadium and other Special events. Work independently or with a team member, reporting to a field supervisor. Resolve customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Support Special Event Enforcement of the SoFi Stadium events, Forum events, and other events throughout the City.
To be successful in this role you must have:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Conflict Management skills to handle sometimes confrontational situations with the public. Flexibility in schedule as this position is an on call part-time position. Working schedule includes, Weekday, Weekend and Holidays. Be comfortable working outside (6-8 hours) in all weather conditions. Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds Ability to direct traffic (training is provided) Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license Ability to use a handheld computer and two-way radio

Traffic Control Officers can be promoted to full-time and/or part-time Parking Enforcement Officers by demonstrating proficiency in the traffic control position.
