Responsibilities
OBXtek, Inc. is hiring a JTAC Instructor and Simulator Operator on the JTAC & SUAS Program Management Support contract and ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Duties include, JTAC instruction, training, simulator operation and tracking responsibilities.
**Clearance Level Required: Secret
Qualifications
Must be able to attain and retain a Secret government clearance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Certifications / Licenses: Current JTAC-I rating; IAT Lvl 1 (CompTia A+ or Network+). Note: must complete IAT Lvl 1 within 6 months of hire and achieve Simulator proficiency within 60 days post IAT Lvl 1 certification.EXPERIENCE:
Must have related experience Excellent communication skills Minimum of two years Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve SOF JTAC experience in performance of JTAC duties. Must have working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, local, state, and federal agencies as applicable to required JTAC and SUAS operations. Must be familiar with military command and control structures. Must possess a valid civilian driver\u2019s license and be able to hold a valid military driver\u2019s license for the military vehicle(s) to be operated. Must have the physical capabilities (be able to lift at least a 60-pound box) to perform JTAC and SUAS duties. Must possess land navigation/map and compass skills sufficient enough to read and locate points of interest and targets etc., using latitude and longitude and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
