WR is seeking an Assembler that is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems and wiring harnesses. The selected candidate will be responsible for product quality, following instructions, meeting product due date requirements, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Under general supervision, performs repetitive electro-mechanical assembly of products per instructions, within specified time and quality standards. Completes measuring, fitting, wiring, soldering, and testing of parts. Reviews drawing or other instructions and accurately assembles components. Rejects and notifies supervisor when encountering defective material. Tests and evaluates quality of finished product. Makes adjustments to units based on testing results. Maintains cleanliness of work station.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred. Three (3)+ years minimum in a related assembly environment. J-STD-001 Preferred. IPC/WHMA-A-620 Preferred.
Must be able to work production shift schedule. Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Ability to obtain and maintain and Active Secret Security Clearance.
