WR Systems has a need for a software engineer intern for support of geospatial / geographical information systems (GIS) using advanced programming languages.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Software Development System Administration (Windows/Linux) Networking Information Assurance Product and Technical Research Requirements Management and Analysis Configuration Management Troubleshooting Technical Documentation Packages Lab-based and Shipboard Testing Quality Assurance and Control Administrative and Logistics Support Available for minimal travel
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
High School diploma or equivalent; Recent Engineering graduate or pursuing Engineering degree preferred. On the job training and/or schooling in software development. Familiarity with C++, C#, JavaScript, and/or other programming language experienced preferred. Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of computers and computer applications. Knowledge of automated software testing is beneficial. Experience with Azure DevOps is beneficial.
