Job Title: Electrical Engineer

SRC is looking for Electrical Engineers to participate in a team tasked with non-personal engineering, technical and program support services for tactical software engineering and cyber engineering for expeditionary systems. The tasks will be completed utilizing recurring day-to-day task support on-site within the Expeditionary Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilitiesWrite performance requirementsDevelop maintenance schedulesProvide remedy to solve operating problems

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Zero to two (0-2) years professional experience Bachelor's level degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Three to six (3-6) years of professional experienceExperience with Expeditionary SystemsSpecialization in an area such as power generation, transmission, distribution, communications, and electrical equipment manufacturingEngineer In Training (EIT) certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) designation
