As a Systems Engineer, you will develop and provide technical solutions.
Utilizing state of the art commercial and new methodologies such as DevOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.), distributed cm, and modern development tools, you will be involved in progressing system capabilities through early requirements analysis, architectural design, development, integration, test and site acceptance with a focus on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
- Strong data background including implementing NiFi and CKAN building/using physical and logical data models
- Experience with System Integration, Test and/or Verification
- Experience with System trade studies and/or System modeling
- Experience with test planning and execution with an understanding of interdependencies
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews and system verification
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- The candidate should possess a high degree of ethics, strong core values, an optimistic outlook, and show the ability to work independently with initiative, creativity and innovation
Desired Skills:
- Domain knowledge of a mission planning and scheduling or command and telemetry system
- Agile software development experience (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum)
- An aptitude for math and physics
- Ability to utilize scripting languages (Perl, Shell)
- Experience using math and modeling tools (Matlab, STK)
