Job Title: PHP Sr. Developer

B3 Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to support a project within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This individual will be responsible for PHP development, maintenance, and testing activities within an Agile methodology to produce, test, and deploy system enhancements. The Senior Developer will also support the solution approach and design for implementation of the system requirements, and the team in planning, coding, testing, and documenting the changes, as well as support communication and coordination with the client, including reporting progress and providing requirements, design, system demonstration, and testing reviews. The successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the development life cycle and have proven experience as a leader in the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of a variety of applications and tools. Telecommute will be considered.
A B3 Technical Sr. Analyst will apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems. They will have a broad knowledge of data sources/flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities/limitations of systems software and computer equipment. The B3 Technical Sr. Analyst will be able to establish frameworks for new computer systems from feasibility studies to post-implementation evaluation, recognize probable conflicts, and integrate diverse data sources. They will provide innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems, and prepare overall project recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop new products and enhance existing products utilizing the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and API. Perform unit and functional testing to ensure the quality of your work Establish the ability to do automated testing Participate in peer design reviews, code review, and testing to ensure quality releases Assisting in leading and mentoring other developers Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Doing Full Stack Web development Participate in a fast-paced agile software development lifecycle. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following skills and experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline, OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent work experience. Requires at least 8 years of experience in software development life cycle, including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and API technologies. Requires experience with Agile methodology and Scrum approach. Ability to write good quality code, and experience and talent as a software developer. Experience in unit-testing and continuous integration. Experience with other technologies is a plus. Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, technical documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and lead/work within a dynamic team environment. Desired / Preferred Qualifications:
