Overview

ERPi has an exciting new opportunity for you to join us as a Site Lead for an EHR Implementation!

Work will be performed at the following 4 locations: Columbus, Ohio - Walla Walla, Washington - White City, Oregon - Boise, Idaho.

We are committed to providing superior support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), assisting in the seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers. Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software, and with our help, this modernization will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.

In this role, you will Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Site Lead.
Facilitates the assessment, alignment and optimization of clinical/functional areas to meet OEHRM deployment requirements. Work directly with local VAMC leads (Service Lines, VHA, VISN, BioMed, and others) to ensure critical/functional capabilities are in place for the deployment of EHRM. Partners/liaises with both VA staff and Cerner team to support project success by aligning clinical, technical and executive stakeholders across the organization in support of the project.
Work will be performed at the following 4 locations: Columbus, Ohio - Walla Walla, Washington - White City, Oregon - Boise, Idaho.

Required Skills and Experience:
At least 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or 15 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree Experience with management of IT development and implementation projects Must have a clinical background and experience with patients, such as former nurses with project management experience EMR deployment experience, Health IT experience, MS Project, MS Office Suite Ability to work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/ clinical environment Acts as the highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
