Overview

ERPi has an exciting new opportunity for you to join us as a Technical Liaison!

Work will be performed at the following 3 locations: Walla Walla, Washington - White City, Oregon - Boise, Idaho.

We are committed to providing superior support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), assisting in the seamless care for Veterans, including access to a complete electronic health record (EHR) and shared, transparent care pathways with the Department of Defense (DoD) and community providers. Currently the VA is undertaking an enterprise-wide Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) effort through the procurement of the Cerner commercial electronic health record software, and with our help, this modernization will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.

In this role, you will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Technical Liaison:
Facilitate the assessment, alignment and optimization of technical areas to meet OEHRM deployment requirements. Liaison will work directly with local VAMC leads (OI&T, BioMed, Facilities Management, and others) to ensure technical capabilities are in place for the deployment of EHRM. Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals, and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
Work will be performed at the following 3 locations: Walla Walla, Washington - White City, Oregon - Boise, Idaho.

Required Skills and Experience:
At least 15 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent, or 23 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree Understanding of the engineering and technical concerns related to biomedical and medical devices Understanding of EHR implementation and how it relates to network and information security Understanding of Network security Microsoft Visio and Project Health IT experience Ability to create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained Experienced in introducing new hardware and software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. Must be cost-conscious as well as address goals
