Gunnison is seeking data analysts / programmers interested in working on challenging and rewarding assignments. Location: Washington, DC Metro Area. Potential Teleworking Opportunities. Due to COVID-19, all work will be performed remotely until further notice

DATA ANALYST / PROGRAMMER

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The positions include writing and modifying SAS code to produce complicated combinations of detailed data
Work on cross functional team
Collaborate with client team
Clear communication and problem-solving ability
Product development in an agile style environment
TECHNOLOGIES:

SAS, UNIX/LINUX, Shell scripting, SFTP, Python, Perl, R

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in CS, Statistics, or applied math
3-9 years of experience
Knowledge of Unix/Linuxoperating system
At least one scripting language to run in Unix/Linux environment
Experience with Unix operating system.
Experience with shell scripting
SAS programming experience with macros, proc sql, sas data steps.
Ability to pass a US Government Background investigation (national agency check, Secret or TS not required).
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer, including residing in the country for at least the past 3 years consecutively; must successfully complete a federal government investigation process.
OTHER:

SAS Certification, Korn shell scripting, Perl script, Python
Experience with edit / imputation process
Hands on experience with Agile project
Writing technical requirements
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
NICE-TO-HAVES:

Familiar with geographic and demographic concepts
Familiar with edit and imputation process
