Process Engineer
Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
Responsibilities
•Analyze workflows within the production departments to determine opportunities for improvement
•Review the KPI monitoring systems and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain company operations
•Assist in troubleshooting, failure analysis and quality control operations for manufacturing
•Responsible for coordinating equipment purchases, capital expense applications and implementing facility/process improvements
•Support business growth/new product development decisions with analytical data
•Bring innovative solutions/processes to the table and identify opportunities to capture intellectual property
•Participate in engineering teams of multiple disciplines to establish, review, and improve overall process design and manufacturing procedures as needed.
•Define projects that find ways to cut costs and drive productivity
Skills
•Be able to clearly/effectively communicate with engineering colleagues, project managers, and clients via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings.
•Associates Degree or relevant experience in (Electrical) Engineering or related discipline required (Bachelor’s preferred)
•Expert computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
•Ability to provide strong analytical skills to cross-functional engineering teams
•5+ years in quality or business process engineering
•Excellent eye for detail
•Proven history in improving manufacturing productivity and/or supply chain efficiency
Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment
