Responsibilities
Develop functional testing scenarios as well as detailed functional test cases Assist with testing online platforms built on Drupal Manage project deadlines, as well as your time and schedule in a fast-paced federal environment Review and generate complex test plans, generate test case data, build procedures and testing scripts based upon functional specifications Execute test cases, coordinate and execute tests, log and validate defects, debug and document Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaboration skills with all levels of business and technical staff Interact with Federal and contractor functional leads to clarify requirements and scenarios Assist test lead/manager to define and refine functional testing approaches, tools, automation and documentation Serve as a functional testing subject matter expert to assist other test engineers as needed Participate in regular project status meetings, track and communicate testing progress, issues and risks Assist the Federal and contractor resources to conduct User Acceptance Testing Utilize software testing tools and develop software test automation Respond to developers' questions regarding test results, bugs and defects Communicate frequently with customers and team members, facilitating discussions and exercising professional judgment as required
Qualifications
5 - 8 years experience in testing software applications Experience working in Agile and SDLC work environments Experience with Drupal or other Web Content Management System Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) Experience in test automation including the development and execution of automated test scripts Experience with defect tracking/requirements management tool, desired technologies include: IBM Rational Suite, (ClearQuest, Requirements Pro, Functional Test) Experience in all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, and regression testing Experience testing all layers of the application, including web-based user interface, service layer, data migration, integration layer, data layer, and performance testing
