We are looking for Facilities Operations HVAC/R Technicians to serve as a first responder to unintended site emergency responses and participate in the safe and complete restoration of facilities system stability for a state-of-the-art semiconductor FAB. The work environment is primarily indoors and clean. This position gives you the opportunity to expand and develop your skills as you work on highly technical facilities equipment using a leading-edge maintenance program.
Respond to emergency response events. Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues. Perform air balance tasks to maintain required specifications in site buildings. Adjust equipment parameters and/or starts or stops equipment to maximize equipment efficiency as identified in department operating guidelines. Maintain the following certifications as a primary responder: SCBA, SKA, APR, ERT, HAZMERT, Confined Space Rescue and CPR. Troubleshoot system deviation problems utilizing available reference materials and department operating guidelines Follow-up on trouble calls to satisfactory conclusion to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively prioritizes multiple work requests to insure minimal impacts to daily operations. Effectively communicate and document operational changes or deviations. 12-hour shifts. Work seven out of fourteen days by alternating between three and four work days per week. Rotate between day and night shifts every four months

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:
Basic PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to walk up to 10 miles per shift Ability to perform work on a ladder Ability to work in a confined space Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work any shift, which includes weekends, nights and holidays. Shifts are 12-hours, with work weeks that alternate between three and four days.

Education and Experience:
Required: Valid Journeyman license or an AAS degree Preferred: 5 years' experience
