Job Summary and Description: Probe Shift Equipment Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes in their assigned area. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Completing all required safety training and conducting all work in accordance with Micron's safety policies Performing quality preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets Increasing equipment uptime through systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving Minimizing tool down-time and variability to increase tool availability Documenting maintenance activities in check sheets and tracking programs Providing content for, and submitting updates for controlled documentation Monitoring, analyzing, and addressing SPC issues Communicating issues to the supervisor or first shift contacts Contributing to and communicating detailed pass downs Assisting equipment engineering in non-routine activities Assisting with equipment installations Supporting TPM activities Assuming additional duties and projects as directed by the supervisor Working any shift and rotate shifts as required Partnering with Production team members and area engineers to support equipment Capable of lifting 40 lbs

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis Intermediate knowledge of algebraic concepts Intermediate PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Intermediate problem-solving skills Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate equipment problems and address root cause Basic to intermediate project management skills Proven ability to properly use common hand tools Intermediate understanding of wafer sort equipment and processes Intermediate data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills Intermediate knowledge of test and calibration equipment (O-scopes and DMMs) Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects Basic understanding of SPC principles Proven ability to communicate and present effectively Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills

Education and Experience: Associate's in an electronics related field or equivalent experience is required.
