NetCentrics is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Sales Engineer to support our Business Development organization. This position is open only to candidates with an active Secret (TS Eligible) security clearance.

Specific duties include:

• Assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts as well as assisting the growth team in meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas • Organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect • Serve as business resource to the customer/prospect and provide subject matter expert service and consulting throughout sales cycle • Proactively drive sales opportunities within identified accounts • Work with Growth, Marketing, and Program Managers to bridge the gap between the customer and the product contributing to messaging and product enhancements • Ownership of technical relationships with our pre-sales customers • Support growth team to accelerate sales cycle as appropriate • You must be someone who enjoys the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small company, and who has a relentless drive to work on new sales opportunities • You must have strong business development process experience in the DoD, Federal market, State, and Commercial space. (Must be eloquent and able to talk with C-level leaders as a peer. Senior position) Must be able to think on the fly, and adapt to changes, listen to prospect pain points, and respond with relevant solution options • Need someone who is extremely knowledgeable in understanding latest Cyber Security methodologies, technologies, and industry best practices and can communicate that technology solution accordingly in both verbal and written form to prospective customers while evaluating what is important to each individual prospects. • Ability to work with tech companies to develop and manage Corporate Partnerships as it relates to Cyber Security.

Required Qualifications:

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CASP • Clearance: Secret (TS eligible). Ultimate clearance may be TS/SCI • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Years of Experience: 10 years of SE experience with at least 5 years of Cyber security • Exceptional understanding of DoD Defensive Cyber Operations concepts, specifically in the areas of: Network Defense, Intrusion Detection, Incident Response, Threat Hunt, Digital Forensics, Continuous Monitoring, Information Assurance (IA), Certification and Accreditation, Vulnerability Management and Scanning, Risk Analysis and Mitigation, and Assessment & Authorization • Strong understanding of Offensive Cyber Operations concepts • Strong understanding of security and information event management (SIEM), SOAR's, TIP's, threat intelligence • Strong client-facing skills, e.g. meeting & presenting to clients (ideally with experience dealing with similar types/levels of contact). • Subject matter expertise in the Cybersecurity space. • Strong understanding with DoD and Federal Market cyber security platforms, technologies, and methodologies • Strong commercial skills including an understanding of the sales process (ideally gained within a similar, software or Cybersecurity commercial environment). • Strong communication skills, written & verbal. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including an ability to think on their feet when faced with challenging questions in the sales environment. • Experience managing the bid or proposal process including responding to RFIs/RFPs. • Technical skills with Security products such as Recorded Futures, Digital Shadows, etc. a plus. • Excellent team / autonomous work capabilities • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Django helpful • Knowledge of multiple cloud environments necessary; GCP, AWS, Azure • Ability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations • Self-motivated and strong work ethic • Clear, concise, confident, and effective communicator • Exceptional presentation skills and commitment to customer satisfaction • Background in cybersecurity and relevant industry experience mandatory • Prefer knowledge of threat intelligence landscape including key players in the industry • Broad contacts in cyber threat intelligence community are a plus • Ability for moderate level of travel for client meetings, conferences • Experience creating and running Virtual Machine demo environments • Working knowledge of Linux, Windows 7 Windows server required • Working knowledge of Kali a+ with pen testing tools and frameworks • Messaging application experience a+ • Understand the Attack kill chain • Prior knowledge of Endpoint Security as it relates to the Attack kill chain • In-Depth knowledge of overall security industry trends, best practices, products and solutions • As a contingency to employment at NetCentrics, all candidates who are given offers must successfully pass a background investigation including criminal history and reference checks.
