Job Summary

Amentum is currently seeking a Security Administrator in support of U.S. Air Force maintenance operations at Holloman AFB NM. This contract consists of F-16 Block 40 aircraft organizational level (O-level) assigned to the 49th Maintenance Group (49MXG), 7th and 8th Aircraft Maintenance Units (AMU) contractor operation and Intermediate level (I-Level) supplementing the 49th Component Maintenance Squadron (49 CMS), 49 Equipment Maintenance Squadron (49 EMS) and 49 Maintenance Group Staff to support flying training for the 49th Wing's (49 FW) training mission at Holloman AFB (HAFB), NM.
Administers and assures compliance with security regulations and procedures to include badging requirements in accordance with DoD and/or NASA guidelines. Directs and advises all departments regarding security regulations and procedures to include badging requirements. Routinely interacts with Government agencies relative to security and badging matters.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Performs as the badging official to complete security requirements for prime and subcontractor personnel.
2. Plans and coordinates security, badging services, and related functions to include the implementation and supervision of programs to ensure maximum utilization within the facility.
3. Coordinate with the responsible Company Facility Security Officer (FSO), to perform functions to ensure personnel DoD Clearance requirements are met and maintained.
4. Screen and process badging and access support to Company and subcontractor personnel, vendors, and visitors at customer/company site(s), to include foreign nationals.
5. Analyze and proof HSPD-12 mandated security documents for submission to NASA security department for personnel, vendors, and visitors to acquire One NASA Certification to possess a permanent badge.
6. Ensure adherence to regulations for generation, transfer, storage, and handling of classified materials.
7. Process and authorize key and lock requests, in coordination with contract key custodians and customer locksmith, to include periodic key audits.
8. Process official event security and badge needs such as for launches, camera permits, provide instructions to requesters and/or users.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Most positions involve work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/ organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum five years administrative experience, and five years DoD security related and NASA security related experience.Equivalent education is applicable. Must be able to obtain or have Personnel Reliability Program Certification.Must be able to obtain or have a favorable National Agency Check Investigation. DoD Clearance of Secret or above also applicable.Must be knowledgeable with data collection compilation software applications.Must be able to acquire Agency Check Investigation. DoD Clearance of Secret or above also applicable.Must be knowledgeable with data collection compilation software applications.Must be able to acquire access to PASS, IdMAX, and JPAS.Position may require travel.Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
