Overview
ID.me is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented corporate/commercial Junior Counsel to join the team and provide legal support for all areas of the company. The Junior Counsel will be a key member of our Legal department, reporting directly to our General Counsel. In this role, you'll work closely with various departments to review contracts, ensure operational compliance, and provide ad-hoc legal support.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the Legal departmentReview and edit contracts, service agreements, and related documentationAssist with contract negotiations, research projects, and other related tasksSupport company-wide compliance and legal audit efforts
Qualifications

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolCurrent bar in Virginia, other jurisdictions may be considered At least two years of experience working in the corporate department of a law firm, with commercial experience or for an in-house corporate legal departmentHighly organized with the ability to independently prioritize and complete projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills
