Overview
We are looking for a results-oriented sales leader to join our team as the Director of Sales Operations. This position will report directly to our VP of Public Sector Sales and will be responsible for owning sales analytics, reporting, proposal management, and training efforts for our sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience managing all aspects of sales operations.
The Director of Sales Operations will manage and grow a team of analysts to focus on our Salesforce operations efforts, sales data analysis, and reporting. In addition, this role will own training efforts for the sales organization including playbooks, training materials, and content management.
A successful leader in this role will have superb verbal and written communication skills and will be comfortable building a team to strengthen our sales operation efforts, while also being able to roll up your sleeves to support the team with the day-to-day.
Responsibilities
Lead and hire a team of analysts and operations staffOwn Salesforce operations and management, including leading a team to ensure operational and billing effectiveness and efficiencyEstablish a sales onboarding program and playbooks to train new employeesManage a team of sales analysts to track long term sales data, providing insights and KPIs to managementOwn the contract and proposal tracking processesQualifications
5+ years leading Sales Operations for a mid or large sized tech companyAt least 3 years of experience managing sales or operations employeesOutstanding written and verbal communications skillsBS/BA degree strongly preferredSalesforce experienceExperience at a fast-paced startup a plus
