OverviewID.me is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to add to our rapidly growing engineering team. We are seeking a talented SRE who enjoys the challenges of load, scaling, and stress testing our infrastructure for our 20 million+ users.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with our growing DevOps team to build and iterate on our infrastructure to improve reliability and performanceIdentify and measure measure performance and any backend system weaknesses through load testing and monitoring app performanceTroubleshoot and debug system issues, helping to determine how to prevent them in the futureAssist in remediating audit and compliance findings (SOC2, ISO, FedRAMP, FICAM)Participate in on-call duties for production issues QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in app monitoring and load testing on large scale systemsStrong familiarity with SRE Concepts, Chaos Engineering, Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), and Mean Time to Restore (MTTR)Experience in Linux/Unix administration and scripting (ie Bash, Python, and/or Ruby)Previous or current application development experienceFamiliarity with cloud technologies (ie AWS, GCP, and/or Azure)Bonus Experience
Familiarity with STIG guidelines and systemsExperience with security compliance and audits (ie FICAM/FedRAMP)
