Job Title: Senior Acquisition Program Test & Evaluation Specialist (APTES SR)
Job Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL (Eglin AFB)

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test & Evaluation Specialist within the Direct Attack Division, AFLCMC/EBD. This division consists of the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), BLU-120, Joint Programmable Fuze (JPF), Hard Target Void Sensing Fuze (HTVSF), Medium Caliber Ammo, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) of multiple assets and a number of other US and FMS air-to-ground munitions and supporting systems in various acquisition phases. Their mission is to advance combat capability through life cycle management of direct attack systems and enterprise-level air armament mission planning capabilities, integrate existing standard munitions, and launch platforms and integrate with C41 capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

Provide expertise in the installation, monitoring, and functional analysis of High Explosive, Anti-Tank/Anti-Personnel, Anti-Material (HEAT/APAM) system as it relates to aircraft integration
Provide expertise in designing, planning, coordinating, executing and analyzing verification/validation (V/V), test and evaluation (T&E) programs, to include developing V/V and T&E strategies and documentation to verify/validate Armament Systems against performance requirements
May also require experience in munitions handling, loading, storage checkout, transportation, and electronic combat/weapon/aircraft compatibility issues
Verification tasks including analysis of resultant weapons fly-out data to analyze the accuracy of modeling and simulation results
Provide expertise with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and A/C 1553 bus architecture, to include message traffic

Qualifications:

AA/AS + 20 years relevant experience or BA/BS + 15 years relevant experience or MA/MS + 10 years relevant experience
Secret Security Clearance (updated within the last 6 years)
Experience with Aircraft Integration, Interface Control Documents, and1553 bus preferred
Must be able to travel as needed (approx. 25%) and ableto rent/operate rental cars while on travel
Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
