Principal Software Engineer, Salesforce

Your role in helping us shape the future:
S erve as a key member of the Salesforce implementation team in a dynamic and highly technical environment. Wear multiple hats and be responsible for configuration, administration, and development in Salesforce platform. Act as the Subject Matter Expert for best practices around configuration, and support effective technical solutions for Intelsat's Salesforce and CPQ systems. Perform as a key liaison with sales operations team and serve as a multi-faceted technologist able to build business-value based objectives .

Are you up to the challenge?
Execute the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem. Design, configure and customize development of solutions using CPQ. Configure and implement solutions in Intelsat's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. Depending on the nature of the project, build integrations with other systems, or assist with activities like scoping and documentation. Be technically involved in all aspects of assigned projects, including planning and resolving issues. Work closely with internal stakeholders and business application owners to identify, recommend, develop, and implement salesforce enhancements. A ssess solution and design options, provide development estimates and timelines to the business users. Participate in all aspects of Salesforce design, development using Classic UI and Lightning Components, testing, configuration, support, and administration.
Can you drive these processes?
Serve as a project lead for full software development life cycle salesforce projects.

You should definitely have:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent. At least 7 years of overall software development experience. Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration - including workflows, validation rules, and approval processes. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce custom development using Apex, and Visualforce. Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the business functions and or /processes that are supported on Salesforce platform. Experience with Salesforce Lightning design and components. Strong understanding of design principles, technically scalable data modeling, and Salesforce development best practices. Experience in demonstrating use of analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address business needs. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
It would be nice if you had:
Salesforce development certification. Experience with migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning framework. Experience with SQL and Javascript. Experience with configure and schedule periodic data synchronization using 3rd party tools like DBSync. Experience in Integrations with Oracle EBS, and other boundary systems.
