Our team of forward-thinking defense leaders formulate strategies for mission success for the following aviation vehicles: Hornet (F/A-18C), Osprey (V-22), Apache (AH-64), Blackhawk (UH-60), Cargo (CH-47), Marine One Presidential Helicopter (VH-92A), Fire Scout (MQ-8C), Orion (P-3C) and the Scan Eagle (Insitu).
VT Group is seeking a Senior Engineer in Patuxent River, MD to support Ground Support Equipment.
Responsibilities
Performs tasks with little or no guidance. Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Qualifications
Education - Master of Science degree in Aerospace (17-2011), Electrical (17-2071), or Mechanical Engineering (17-2141). Experience - At least ten (10) years of engineering experience among the following disciplines: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motor, vehicular, or heavy equipment. Experience is to include three (3) years of experience in Aviation systems attained within the last five (5) years providing acquisition, design, development, or T&E engineering support to PSE or CSE programs.
