As a Human Resources Specialist GS 0201 14, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Provide full range of human capital staffing services for SES positions, including: draft and post vacancy announcements; review applications for minimum qualification determination; arrange/facilitate Executive Rating Panel ensuring Merit Staffing Procedures are applied. Serves as a senior advisor in rendering advisory services and authoritative policy interpretations to managers on the most complicated human resources processes and issues in the agency. Provide operating human resources expert services for a variety of sensitive case actions involving: Senior Executive Service (SES) members, Schedule C appointees, and experts and consultants. Perform analyses that are complicated by major areas of uncertainty in the appropriate approach, methodology, or interpretation because of continuing program changes, or conflicting requirements.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level (starting salary $121,316.) if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: Serving as coordinating human resources expert. Providing technical staffing guidance and management advisory services. Developing priorities and measurements to ensure progress in accomplishing corporate staffing policy goals. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
