Position Description
You will serve as a Machinist in the Production Trades Division, Industrial Execution Department, of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will setup and operate all types of Conventional and/or Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and related equipment in the manufacture, rework, and repair of aircraft parts and components, various fleet equipment, and fleet support work.You will setup and operate 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis Machining Centers, Electrical Discharge Machines, Electron Beam Welders, Electrolytic Chemical Grinders, and CNC Grinders.You will manually adjust coolant flow, speeds and feeds; and other settings to obtain dimensional tolerances.You will produce work in accordance with established standards.You will perform all work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations in the machine shop environment.
